Meet the Baker

Hi, I'm Soumya — and if you've found your way here, chances are you're planning something worth celebrating.

I started myhungryrambles as a space to share my love of food and the stories behind it. What began as recipes and restaurant reviews grew into something I never quite expected: a community of nearly 100,000 people who, like me, believe that food is one of the most powerful ways to connect.

The cake shop is an extension of that same belief.

Every cake I make is baked from scratch, to order, for your occasion. I don't keep a stockroom. I don't use mixes. When you order from me, I'm in my kitchen — measuring, mixing, and decorating — thinking about the moment your family will see it on the table.

By day, I work in data and forecasting. By every other hour, I'm a mom, a home cook, and apparently now, a baker who takes custom cake orders. Life is full.

I'm based in Mississauga and deliver fresh across select areas of Mississauga and Brampton. Every order requires at least 2 days' notice — because good things take time.
